23rd March 2014 – There and back….

So after travelling for over 32 hours and more than 14,000 kilometers, we have finally arrived back home! Although exhausted and more than a little sad that our expedition has come to an end, we are all happy to arrive back to a sunny Scotland (I knew you’d miss us). I still cannot believe our adventure is actually over! From 10-metre high waves in the Drake’s Passage, 1,000 m high glacier capped mountains of the Antarctic Peninsula as a back-drop to an ice berg gallery to witnessing hunting leopard seals and killer whales or a naval tall ship parade off Cape Horn, it is safe to say we had more than our fair share of experiences! Many of you reading this blog will soon be flooded with even more photos and stories from us which will hopefully fill in some of the remaining blanks of our adventures. There are really no words or even photos to truly describe the experiences we have had, but we all hope that this blog has given you a small taste of how much we have learned and experienced!
